Guests will be treated to a delicious brunch with speciality drinks to brighten up their Sunday afternoon. Performances will include an out of this world drag show experience and fun, kid friendly activities for the whole family to enjoy on Father’s Day.

  • Mimosa Reception: 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. 

  • Formal Program : 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

About Camp fYrefly 

Camp fYrefly is an educational, social, and personal learning retreat for sexual and LGBTQ2S+ youth. It focuses on building and nurturing their leadership potential and personal resiliency in an effort to help them learn how to make significant contributions to their own lives, schools and communities. The Camp is designed for sexual and gender minority youth between the ages of 14 and 24.

All proceeds from the Brunch will be used to ensure that no youth is turned away due to the cost of the camp. Camp fYrefly welcomes LGBTQ2S+ youth from all backgrounds to be able to return home with a resilient mindset and a support network of positive friendships, trusted adult mentors, and an empowered sense of self.

Donate - A- Ticket 

We encourage all who have the financial means to donate a ticket to a deserving youth. Your donation will provide a ticket to an individual to attend the brunch for free. You can make a donation through the ticket tab. Individual Early Bird Tickets cost $70.00. 

Sponsored Tickets 

If you are a youth or an individual who would like to attend the brunch but who is unable due to lack of funds, please register here. The tickets will be distributed on a first come first serve basis. You will be notified when a ticket becomes available.

The Fyrefly Institute for Gender and Sexual Diversity (Fyrefly Institute) brings together education, research, policy development, and community services in order to ensure that gender and sexually diverse folks are recognized and well served by their communities.

The Institute represents a distinct and holistic model, placing gender and sexual diversity studies and services in a dynamic, interdependent relationship. Our multifaceted research allows us to not only help youth at large, but also to guide professional development and education for teachers, social workers, family physicians, psychologists, guidance counselors, and other caring professionals, enabling them to be better resources and advocates for 2SLGBTQ+ individuals and their families.

In addition, the Institute impacts policy and services for 2SLGBTQ+ folks nationally through its work with various agencies and organizations including the Office of Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer, the Canadian Teachers’ Federation, and the Public Health Agency of Canada.
